Camera Obscura Art Exhibit at Eloise May Gallery – March 2012

Camera Obscura Art Exhibit at Eloise May Gallery

Solo show inspired by V. Nabokov’s novel Laughter in the Dark

We are free to be free yet we spend most of our lives not fully aware of the self-imposed limitations. We are endowed with a dark ‘charity’ chamber with a tiny pinhole for if we were able to see into the infinity we would get crashed under the weight of all the beauty and sorrow surrounding us and emanating from everyone and everything. Fortunately, we are also gifted with the ability to freely switch the channel at any given moment. What will it become: a comedy, horror film, drama or tragic-comedy? You are the director of your own movie.
